Shipping Cost Calculator - Update: Simply put, if you are buying a small quantity of inexpensive items (less than $5 things and less than 12pcs) then we try to cover our shipping expenses which are usually greater than the profit from selling the items themselves. If you several moderately priced items ($6-10, 3-5pcs) then the shipping cost are more favorable and the item prices are more expensive then the more the shipping cost are subsidized by our pricing structure when you checkout. As you buy more products the shipping cost flatten out to a maximum or $50 in the Continental USA and for larger order we offer free shipping over $500 worth of product. Because many of our prices are discounted to begin with this is the only way we can keep giving low prices and moderate the shipping cost.
More explainations: We have modifyied the shipping cost to a weight based system as mentioned below. In this way we can price our products more competitively and cover our shipping cost more accurately. Our shipping cost are based on the effective weight of a product in relationship to the selling price. As you order more we will flatten out the shipping cost to a maximum of $50. On large orders of $500 or more we offer free shipping in the Continental United States, excluding AK, HI and APOs. We offer a wide range of products at discounted pricing levels throughout our shopping cart. In order to properly price our items as low as possible we have moderated our shipping expenses. An items weight and cost are relevant to the final cost you pay to get the products we offer to their final destination. The final shipping cost for each order is to promote larger orders while simplifying the discounts for smaller orders at the same time. The result is that orders for regular priced items at small quantities receive a lower per piece shipping cost versus the cheaper heavier items which cost more to ship and have discounts built into the pricing of the product. Nonetheless, wholesale customers and larger orders will never pay more than $50 shipping on any domestic order. Once the shipping cost reach $50 it won't go any higher no matter how many items you order. We have found this to work better than free shipping since it covers our cost on the inexpensive items that have a very small markup and we don't have to raise the prices on smaller orders. For many items the shipping cost vary significantly from place to place in the United States based on the weight, the product size and the location of the recipient. We have formulated these cost into our shopping cart and generalized the prices with this chart based on the number of products you are ordering so that you can estimate your shipping cost.
Our shipping rates cover our actual expenses for processing shipments in a timely and efficient manner. By accurately calculating our cost we are able to lower the prices on the products we sell and include discounts on items as you order more. We use FedEx, UPS and USPS for domestic shipping depending on your location. We may ship from a variety of warehouses around the country depending on the product, quantity and color of the items you want. Our products vary in price so when you order more the price of shipping also goes down significantly on a per item basis. Orders are processed within 1-3 business days as of receipt, excluding weekends, and are reviewed and confirmed. Blank t-shirt orders and gift items go out within 1-2 days after confirmation. American Apparel t-shirt orders take 2-3 days to ship after confirmation. Stock printed t-shirts take 1-3 days to ship depending on the item. Special printed t-shirts and individually made shirts take 5-7 business days to make and ship if they are out of stock.
